Getting ready on your wedding day with your bridesmaids is your dream for your big day. Proper planning is necessary to make it happen as per your style and wedding dream. Here are our top tips for the morning of your wedding day.

Time Line

It is important and crucial to have timeline for your wedding day especially for getting ready. As your wedding day starts with preparation and planning to implement whatever you decided with your partner should happen on that big day. Make a timeline with your wedding planner or your wedding photographer. Begin with your wedding start time and check with your makeup artist time period artist required for hair and make up by your stylist. Plan to arrive ceremony venue in preferred time. First look photo session and taking photos with your bridal party will take 30 to 45 minutes. Add these time to your timeline. Depends up on the number of bridesmaids and stylists, the time changes as make up for each bridesmaid will take 30 to 45 minutes. For bride, hair and make up can take 60 to 90 minutes. Discuss with your Stylist and Photographer for their time requirement and prepare timeline for your wedding day. Share this time line to both hair and make up stylist and wedding photographer.

Dress and veil

Take your wedding dress and veil out of the garment bag and hang it up where it can breath. Hang it where you can see so that you can notice the areas need attention to steam. Tuck the comb of veil inside the back of the dress and hang down.

Make up room

Your make up room must have plenty of natural light and space. This is required if you are having a large number of bridesmaids and more than one make up artist. Wedding photographers prefer natural light and space in room for getting ready pictures. Plenty of natural lighting is the key for beautiful getting ready pictures. Plenty of electric outlets are required in the room to charge phones, to plug multiple blow-dryers, curlers, straighteners and hot rollers for make up artists. Photographer and videographers may need outlets to charge their camera battery or need to plug their lighting equipment. Buy power strip or ensure everything can run smoothly without additional power strips.

Gifts for bridesmaids

Bridesmaid gifts such as getting-ready robes, monogrammed shirts or any other gifts for your bridesmaids to be distributed the night before wedding day. They can wear on arrival to the getting-ready space.

Food for Crew

Make sure to pre-order nutritious breakfast or lunch for your wedding party. They need to stay with you until the end of the wedding reception. If you are not providing food in the location, your wedding party may go outside for buying food and they will be busy. They can not focus on your getting ready session or focused on your big day. You need to spend with your wedding crew as much time as possible together on wedding day morning.
